Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal was born in 1989 in Ankara. He graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in 2013, with an honorary degree. He completed his specialty training in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2019. In 2018, he was an 'International Clinical Observer' in the Plastic Surgery Department of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He fulfilled his duty of public service obligation in Erzurum. He was awarded the title of 'Fellow - FEBOPRAS' as a member of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) by succeeding in the examinations held in Brussels in 2018 and in İzmir in 2020. In 2020, he was deemed successful by the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association (TPRECD) Qualification Board and received a 'Certificate of Competence'. He won the TPRECD Specialist Research Competition Experimental Branch First Prize and Specialist Research Competition Clinical Branch Second Prize in 2021. In 2023, he was an 'International Visitor' at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal performs all surgeries in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, as well as facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics and body shaping surgeries. He has attended many national and international academic meetings. He has many academic publications in reputable journals. He used to perform surgeries in a private clinic in Istanbul between 2021 and 2022. Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal has been working as a faculty member at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine since August 2022. He is a member of International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TPRECD), Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (EPCD), European Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and Istanbul Medical Chamber.
