Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal received his medical degree with Honors from the English Medicine Program of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2019. In 2018, he worked as an International Clinical Observer in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He fulfilled his compulsory state service in Erzurum. Having successfully passed the examinations held in Brussels in 2018 and in İzmir in 2020, he was awarded the title FEBOPRAS (Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). In 2020, he received the Board Certification from the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (TPRECD) Board of Proficiency. He won the First Prize in the Experimental Category and the Second Prize in the Clinical Category at the 2021 TPRECD Specialist Research Competition. In 2023, he worked as an International Visiting Doctor at Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal performs all types of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery operations, with special interest in facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics, and body contouring. He has authored more than 30 articles published in prestigious international journals.

Between 2021 and 2022, he continued performing surgeries at a private clinic in Istanbul. From 2022 to 2025, he served as a faculty member at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. In March 2024, he was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2025, he earned the FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons) title at the official convocation ceremony of the American College of Surgeons held in Chicago.

He is a member of the following professional organizations: Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (TPRECD), Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society (EPCD), European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), American College of Surgeons (ACS), Istanbul Medical Chamber.

Since October 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayhan Işık Erdal has been seeing patients at his private clinic in Istanbul.
